Dr. Robert Chuong MD DMD was my surgeon on June of 2025. I did a lot of research between my DMD options and I choose Dr. Chuong because of his incredible schooling history. I was considered a complicated case for many reasons from multiple dentist, involving my wisdom teeth. All four wisdom needed to go. The real fear set in. This would be my first real legit surgery. The scalpel is a no go for me. Four years prior I had all of my top teeth removed in one sitting. The idea of grab and pull felt fearless to me. Fast-forward - Top denture was a great success, however until my impacted wisdom teeth started growing in. I was warned they may drop in a few years later. Only one top and one bottom wisdom were coming in both on the right side. The bottom at a 40 degree angle while the top same issue except clashing with the denture. Dr. Chuong in person was exactly who I was looking for. Straight to the point. Explains pros and cons, why this option is better long term. No judgement verbally or thru body language. He lets you process which is really important. The calmness but fear on my face was unreal. Removing all four of my wisdom teeth would of been an awful call for a lot of reasons.

This place SERIOUSLY needs to re-evaluate their front desk receptionists. Had a great experience with the blonde lady but the other one, Esmeralda or whatever, HORRIBLE ATTITUDE. Over the phone, in person. I came in after being ejected from a vehicle in an accident hoping to get my face looked at after a stressful 5 days and am met with a nasty, nasty attitude. Then a girl comes in also complaining about the woman’s attitude, the woman tries to gaslight her. As a doctor or owner of a medical practice, why would you want miserable disgusting people working at the front desk as patients first impression. Disgusting how people think they can get away with treating others like garbage. Do better.

Dr. Chuong is a great Dr. He's not very chatty and doesn't get personal but maybe that's what makes him great at his job. I'm grateful to have seen him and I appreciate his honesty and his ability to stay on task. The staff is wonderful! Everyone is very patient with me, I have a tendency to get chatty when I get anxious and they were all very sweet. I'm actually excited for my oral surgery since I'm having it with Dr. Chuong and his staff. I highly recommend!!!

I don't usually write reviews but after reading previous reviews I was very nervous about being referred to this place. I'm not sure why all the negative ones because my experience was a positive. They were very nice and had no problems getting appointments. Dr and all the employees were friendly and made sure to explain everything and answered any questions. Surgery was fine, went smoothly. They even called later in the afternoon to check how I was doing.

I had a big jawbone lesion that do not happen very often. Only 3 oral surgeons, out of 7 I saw were willing to take my case. I went with Dr Chuong upon a friend’s recommendation because his wife had a TMJ done by Dr Chuong about 20 yrs ago and had a wonderful experience. My experience ended being the same also. All his office staff was very nice and professional. My surgery was done at the hospital and the nurse for my surgery preop said I could not have a picked a better surgeon then Dr Chuong for what I was getting operated for and not to worry that I was in very good hand. (it was great reassurance from someone who has been working there for over 20 yrs) Well, he was 100% right because my surgery was a breeze. My friend who picked me up from the hospital said had he not seen the nurse wheeled me out, he would have never believed I had major jawbone surgery the day before. Recoup was also super easy, even though I had pain killer meds, I only required a few Advil. Now 7 months post surgery and my jawbone is healing well per Dr Chuong. He didn’t anticipate my jawbone improving/healing that quickly but it is. I also didn’t expect it to heal that quick as I am in my late 50’s.
